A. Overview of Turkish Sticker Visa
The Turkish Sticker Visa is a type of travel authorization required for foreign nationals who wish to enter Turkey for various purposes, such as tourism, business, or medical treatment, and plan to stay for a period not exceeding 90 days within a 180-day time frame. This visa is appropriate for those travelers who are not eligible for the Turkish e-Visa or who prefer the traditional visa application process. The sticker visa, issued by Turkish embassies and consulates, is physically stamped or glued into the applicant’s passport, hence the name “sticker visa.” It is essential for travelers to consult the official Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs website or their local Turkish consulates to understand the current visa regulations and requirements thoroughly.
B. Types of Sticker Visas
When applying for a Turkish sticker visa, it’s crucial to understand the various types of visas available to ensure you select the one that matches your travel purpose. The Turkish government issues several types of sticker visas, each tailored to different needs and intentions of visitors. Primarily, there are three main categories:
1. Tourist Visa
2. Business Visa
3. Student Visa
Tourist and business visas are commonly sought by individuals traveling for leisure or business-related activities. These visas typically allow a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period and can be single-entry, double-entry, or multiple-entry, depending on your requirements and travel plans.
